LOVING LIFE!

Posted on Updated on

Falling in love with life is really not all that difficult! Maybe you’re stuck in some-kind of rut, maybe you’ve got cabin fever from being inside way too lloving-lifeong, or maybe its that you’re just plain bored. For whatever the reason your mind seems to be having these most negative thoughts, when you find yourself looking in the mirror and thinking, there’s got to be more to life than this, it’s doesn’t leave you with a very good feeling. But fortunately, there are a few simple things you can do, and the many different ways in which to look at life, that will get you to fall in love with your own life once again. Don’t “ever” live in the past. It maybe easier said then done, but you shouldn’t get down on yourself for what has happened by your past. What’s done is done, plain and simple. You can’t change it, no matter how hard you may want to. Your past does not define who you are. Stay in the present moment & for God’s sake, do not look back, your not going that way! Don’t live your life in a fictitious future. The quicker you can learn to let go of what you think you should be and what you want to be, you can soon start to enjoy what you have right now, at this very moment. There are absolutely no guarantees of what tomorrow will bring nor what the years may pass have in store for you. It’s nice to daydream and have great ambitions, but you set yourself up for bigger & greater disappointments when you grow too attached to those ideas that inevitably may not come to pass. Start getting excited about something your passionate about, and do something you’ve always wanted to do. Trying new things like decorating, photography, running, gardening, painting, car restoration, yoga, cooking, baking you name it, if you’ve thought about doing it, now is the time to actually act upon it. Get excited about it, throw yourself into it fully and completely, as you give it a real shot and have some fun with it. Do something compassionate for someone else, that involves the caring & kindness of another human being less fortunate. This is a sure-fire way, to get me feeling better about everything. If you are able to help someone, even in a very small, seemingly insignificant way, it can make you beam from within. Help someone with a tedious chore, tidy a room, pick up a bottle of wine on the way home from work. These small gestures can actually have a greater impact and can make you feel even better than the individual your attending too. See the beauty in all living things & those everyday things we all take for granted. We can undoubtedly get so caught up in the day-to-day grind, that we start to overlook even the most abundant & beautiful things that surrounds us. The longer we allow to let this go on, the worse it seems to become. Spend some quality time outside. There’s nothing worse, for me than being cooped up inside for long periods of time. I get down, bored, moody and lethargic. Get me outside, even if it’s just for a few brief moments, sitting enjoying the fresh air, I feel a million times better. If you’ve been feeling the same, try heading outside fort awhile. Do some gardening, read a good book, stare at the clouds like you did when you were a child, anything that you could do inside, try taking it outside, you may be pleasantly surprised. Do something extremely creative with your valuable & precious time. You may not think you have a creative nor imaginative bone in your body but I’ll bet you do. If you haven’t done anything creative for awhile, maybe it’s that you ultimately feel, you’re scared of failing, creating something sub-par or even being laughed at for your attempt. You’re only limited by your own imagination and your worst fears. Start today to be encouraged, inspired & motivated by the goodness that lives abundantly in you! May God bless each & everyone of You with peace & love! Stay blessed for your on the road to a higher standard, a greater power. I Love You –  David Harrison Levi- Beverly Hills, CA

OCEANS APART….BUT STILL FRIENDS

Posted on Updated on

Good morning to all my amazing, beautiful, creative & talented friends around the world. We are here by the grace of God and our lives can be snuffed out within a fraction of a second without warning. It’s important to remember the true meaning of real & unconditocean-sunset-wallpaperional friendship. When speaking on the topic of social media Facebook a place for friends … if we should feel lonely, depressed, at our wits end and no where to turn or worse, just remember that you belong to a family that is so big and vast you cannot possibly imagine it, that is so full of caring, compassionate, loving, kind, loyal and understanding individuals who share our stories, photos and lives daily. And though many of us have never met in person, we feel we know each other. Distance, time and personal responsibility often keeps us from one another, but no matter what ocean divides us, no matter what is keeping us apart, we are together in spirit. It would make us all cry in the moment if we only knew just how caring and well meaning some of our friends can be. I look forward in anticipation and feel this each and everyday by those individuals I am blessed to call my friends and I am sure that a lot of others feel the very same way. Those who do not feel this and/or are suffering need to start knowing and feeling this, because as a caring Society of loving human beings, we are here together not just for entertainment but for each other in love, to encourage, inspire, motivate, support and empower one another. To keep one’s spirits high and lift one another in times of sadness and celebrate ones happiness throughout the year. I am here for you always and words are not nessecary, just know this in your heart. All the loving people in the world who walk the path of truth and love I consider my family and so should you. We are the future my brothers & sisters … I cherish our friendship and you are forever in my heart. May God bless you, your family, friends and pets always. WE ALL NEED KNOW WE ARE APPRECIATED

I am a giver, however at times when I’m in need of encouragement & support for myself, I often wonder where my help is or where those I have helped daily are and why now when I need them the most, so few are found. I don’t expect anything nor do I ask anything in return. I truly love to inspire, motivate, empower & enlighten people by my words in achieving all their dreams, goals andAll Things Are Possible... aspirations, but when I really need their help, it would be nice to have their kind & unselfish support once in a while to prove that unconditional love, loyalty and friendship still exists in a world that all too often forgets. It just gets a person down to think how alone we really are. I am strong, I am positive, I am optimistic in all things and I have my faith to see me through. Love as much as you can no matter what, we never know what tomorrow will bring … tomorrow is never promised … we just never know … I love you ♡ David Harrison Levi  Beverly Hills, CA

SHINE YOUR LIGHT!

Don’t let someone else’s bitterness & resentment and negative attitude about their own life, kill your spirit. There are those that get their high off of making you feel low, questioning yourself and your self-worth. The only thing they bring to the table, is their own form of chaos, unwanted & unnecessary drama and negativity into your world. Don’t give them the satisfaction in knowing they can brilighteningng you down to their level. This is a time to stay focused on the more important and meaningful things in your life. The things that build you up, the things that inspire you, the things that motivate you, the things that empower you and support you, not the things that break you down. Happiness is not a crime, so don’t be afraid to show it. Let your own light shine bright and stop worrying about those trying to make it uncomfortable and unpleasant for you. You Just Never Know…..

Oftentimes, we tend to believe that others in our lives and those we meet must be pretty happy, content and satisfied with their lives. We see them from the outside and unless they confide in us, we don’t really know them, do we? What we fail to realize, is that every one of us with no exception is fighting a battle big or small, we know nothing about. There are many that struggle daily with terminal illness and a great number of health issues, all forms of cancer, depression & bipolar, trying to get through another day fighting alcoholism and drug abuse, putting an end to their smoking, are challenged by their own disabilities and handicaps, dealing with anxiety and stress, fear and worry over the loss of a loved one, a divorce, a death, homelessness, hardship by financial burdens and great responsibility from the care of an elderly parent to the responsibilities of a young child as a single parent. They smile, they are positive and optimistic in spite of it all, rarely giving others an opportunity to see what’s really going on or even a hint that something is wrong. Never look down on anyone, unless you’re willing to lift them up. Be kind to everyone you meet and remember to always have a great respect for those who have every reason to complain and don’t! I salute you! I love you ♡ David Harrison Levi Beverly Hills, CA
