BREAKING UP IS HARD TO DO

Posted on Updated on

Once a breakup is inevitbreaking upable and the relationship just isn’t working anymore, our intuition takes over and we can feel it deep within our soul. Most of us tend to rationalize and justify why staying in a relationship is valid, because we have invested so much time & energy and giving up is not in our nature. These defense mechanisms trigger the fear within us. Fear of being alone, fear of being lonely, fear of rejection and our greatest fear, feeling unwanted. However, they can only delay the truth so long, till reality sets in and we must take the necessary steps to finally get out. Remember, you will feel empty, lonely and depressed until you come to grips with what you are going through. There is no easy fix and you will go through a grieving period. You will feel restless, you will lose your appetite, you will lose sleep, you will cry and you will have bouts of anger and frustration. That is why you have to weigh your options carefully and do what’s right for you. Don’t listen to anyone, this is YOUR life! You must remain strong, be courageous and fearless during this difficult and trying time. Have an open heart, have faith in God, be forgiving and remember what you lost will soon be replaced by what was meant to be. Your life “still” has purpose and meaning and settling for someone that isn’t quite working or worse not willing to try, is no way to go through life. Often times, when our world is seemingly falling apart, it’s actually falling into place. I love you ♡ David Harrison Levi Beverly Hills, CA
