LOVING LIFE!

Posted on Updated on

Falling in love with life is really not all that difficult! Maybe you’re stuck in some-kind of rut, maybe you’ve got cabin fever from being inside way too lloving-lifeong, or maybe its that you’re just plain bored. For whatever the reason your mind seems to be having these most negative thoughts, when you find yourself looking in the mirror and thinking, there’s got to be more to life than this, it’s doesn’t leave you with a very good feeling. But fortunately, there are a few simple things you can do, and the many different ways in which to look at life, that will get you to fall in love with your own life once again. Don’t “ever” live in the past. It maybe easier said then done, but you shouldn’t get down on yourself for what has happened by your past. What’s done is done, plain and simple. You can’t change it, no matter how hard you may want to. Your past does not define who you are. Stay in the present moment & for God’s sake, do not look back, your not going that way! Don’t live your life in a fictitious future. The quicker you can learn to let go of what you think you should be and what you want to be, you can soon start to enjoy what you have right now, at this very moment. There are absolutely no guarantees of what tomorrow will bring nor what the years may pass have in store for you. It’s nice to daydream and have great ambitions, but you set yourself up for bigger & greater disappointments when you grow too attached to those ideas that inevitably may not come to pass. Start getting excited about something your passionate about, and do something you’ve always wanted to do. Trying new things like decorating, photography, running, gardening, painting, car restoration, yoga, cooking, baking you name it, if you’ve thought about doing it, now is the time to actually act upon it. Get excited about it, throw yourself into it fully and completely, as you give it a real shot and have some fun with it. Do something compassionate for someone else, that involves the caring & kindness of another human being less fortunate. This is a sure-fire way, to get me feeling better about everything. If you are able to help someone, even in a very small, seemingly insignificant way, it can make you beam from within. Help someone with a tedious chore, tidy a room, pick up a bottle of wine on the way home from work. These small gestures can actually have a greater impact and can make you feel even better than the individual your attending too. See the beauty in all living things & those everyday things we all take for granted. We can undoubtedly get so caught up in the day-to-day grind, that we start to overlook even the most abundant & beautiful things that surrounds us. The longer we allow to let this go on, the worse it seems to become. Spend some quality time outside. There’s nothing worse, for me than being cooped up inside for long periods of time. I get down, bored, moody and lethargic. Get me outside, even if it’s just for a few brief moments, sitting enjoying the fresh air, I feel a million times better. If you’ve been feeling the same, try heading outside fort awhile. Do some gardening, read a good book, stare at the clouds like you did when you were a child, anything that you could do inside, try taking it outside, you may be pleasantly surprised. Do something extremely creative with your valuable & precious time. You may not think you have a creative nor imaginative bone in your body but I’ll bet you do. If you haven’t done anything creative for awhile, maybe it’s that you ultimately feel, you’re scared of failing, creating something sub-par or even being laughed at for your attempt. You’re only limited by your own imagination and your worst fears. Start today to be encouraged, inspired & motivated by the goodness that lives abundantly in you! May God bless each & everyone of You with peace & love! Stay blessed for your on the road to a higher standard, a greater power. I Love You –  David Harrison Levi- Beverly Hills, CA
