you’ve broken down, cried and wanted to give up, but you didn’t. Your faith tested, you continued to believe. You remained strong, you stayed confident and in spite of all the odds against you, you held firm and stayed positive, remained optimistic, inspired by your own setbacks, motivated by your downfall and somehow empowered by the roadblocks set in your path. I have been challenged, but I have 
endured. I have known hardship & struggle and I have often lost myself in the process. My faith being tested, I continued to believe. I have learned how to deal with overwhelming fears, worry, anxiety and stress as I continue to move forward and grow stronger, wiser and more knowledgeable each day from the things I cannot possibly change. The Journey Is Not Always Easy
fear the worst. Not knowing, we become frustrated and take it out on others. No matter how positive we may think we are and optimistic in our views, we find ourselves anxious and stressed and dreading the worst. How we choose to deal what the circumstances at hand or the situation put before us will ultimately determine our fate. We must learn to take one day at a time and never, ever let negative energy fill our heads or allow ourselves to dwell on the “what ifs” Only through God, a positive mind and an optimistic spirit can we expect to survive the harsh realities of life. Your courage and inner strength will carry you out of the darkness and into the light. It won’t be easy my friend, but think of the options. How often in life did you think you weren’t going to make it? Remember, God never puts anything in our path to challenging or overwhelming we can’t overcome. I realized that w
hen I first starting writing to keep myself positive and blogging on Facebook, more and more people were following my daily posts. After some time, men, women and even teenagers were contacting me, sharing with me stories about their personal lives and how much my writing seemingly helped them get through some very bleak, challenging, hard and difficult moments. Many of these personal interactions were heartfelt and clearly touched my life in ways to numerous to mention. Words are a powerful tool and I believe in some small way they can help to remind one of the importance of having faith, believing in God, keeping a positive and optimistic mindset and remembering that any challenge, struggle or hardship you are facing is generally only temporary. That your success is not defined nor measured by how many mistakes, setbacks or failures you’ve encountered, how many times you fell, but how well you coped & dealt with them. As human beings, we are not perfect nor are we expected to be, only God is perfect. We will make many errors in our short time on earth, we will trust those closest to us and oftentimes, they will turn on us, critiquing our every move, criticizing and judging us unfairly. We will feel lied to, betrayed, used, taken advantage of and made to feel guilty by their careless, harsh & hurtful words and actions. But the most important lesson I can teach you though so often difficult, is the ability to grow, learn and be forgiving. That the inner peace you seek far outweighs being right. Don’t let your ego or pride stand in the way of your own personal happiness and inner joy. Life is about experiencing, living and seeing the beauty in all people & situations. Don’t let anyone or anything stand in the way of your dreams, goals and aspirations. Choose to lead a passionate, productive life and don’t ever wake up regretting or resenting those opportunities you once shared. The only boundaries and limitations set in your path, are those you’ve placed before you. The only disability you may have, are those you focus on & consider a priority. It’s important that you surround yourself always with happy go lucky, positive, optimistic people that celebrate you and not just tolerate you. It’s easy to say your a friend, but it takes a genuine caring, a kind spirit and an unconditional friend who values your friendship like family and is loyal to the very end. I take friendship very seriously and I value ours. Thank you for being an important & significant part of my life now and always. Being in a loving and unconditional relationship takes great responsibility from both partners. If one refuses to fulfill their obligation, you are doomed for failure. Be positive! Be strong! Remain optimistic! Sometimes loving someone no matter how hard you try, is never en
ough. No one in this lifetime is worth experiencing the ongoing & overwhelming difficulties and challenges, if the other person refuses to try. Often times, we are only enablers, allowing others to treat us the way they see fit and ultimately keeping us from what we are truly deserving of. Continuing to feel the emptiness, the pain and heartbreak your heart has endured serves no one and is a grieving period we all must face at one time or another. The reality is … if it wasn’t meant to be, it never will be. Everything happens for good reason & purpose and there are no mistakes. You are surrounded by an aura of love from God, family & friends …. they may have left you, you may have left them, but you will find someone genuine, true and worthy of that love you so willing have to offer.
